Product Range
We provide an extensive range of refrigeration equipment. We supply the Wall’s Maxivision, Slimline, Hawking Trolley and Vista range, Carte D’Or scooping freezers, such as the J9 Extra, and the Ben & Jerrys glass door freezers and chest freezers. Our selection of refrigeration equipment that is not branded varies from Gastronorms to multidecks / chillers to ice makers and even cold rooms.
Quality
Our range of commercial freezers and chillers are predominantly of EEC manufacture and our trading relationships with the manufacturers are long-standing. Our Supplier list is kept deliberately small so that true partnerships are formed bringing maximum advantage to our customers in terms of availability, quality and price. All of our freezers carry a minimum 12 months full Parts & Labour Warranty.
Pre-sale
Customers can order via phone, on-line, email, fax or by post. On receipt of an order we contact every customer by phone to ensure that the proposed purchase is the right piece of equipment for the job and additionally that it fits into the proposed site environment.
Delivery
We add value at time of delivery by delivering right through to point of sale (ground floor, unhindered access). We always have two people on the delivery vehicle. We unpack and remove all packaging from site. We only ask you to sign for the goods once you have inspected them unwrapped and at point of sale. Please note that unwrapping and positioning is not available on a small minority of the refrigeration equipment and may be an extra charge – if this is the case then you will be told this when placing your order.
After sales
Customers can use the contact number at any time to seek advice. Where an engineer call-out is deemed necessary we aim to be at site the day after the initial phone contact is received (Monday to Friday).
No Hidden Charges
Cost of delivery is included in the price of the equipment for UK mainland. For non-mainland deliveries a published scale of surcharges is available.
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)
The burden of responsibility for disposal of refrigeration equipment under WEEE Regulations (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) sits with us for those purchased from Total Refrigeration. We are members of the Advantage Waste Brokers WEEE Producer Compliance Scheme.
Collection and disposal of refrigeration equipment
If you have a piece of refrigeration equipment that you no longer require we will be happy to provide you with a quote for the removal of this equipment. It will then be disposed of properly under the duty of care provisions of the UK environment protection legislation. For every piece of refrigeration equipment we collect and dispose of 97% of it is recycled. Total Refrigeration Limited are also supporting the Woodland Trust by planting a tree for every piece of refrigeration equipment recycled. Over 5,100 have been planted to date.
Flexibility
Do you need an old freezer collected? Does your business have difficulty in getting equipment to point of sale? Yellow lines making delivery difficult? We’ve probably seen it before and welcome your challenge – we rarely lose! In some circumstances we would look to pass on extra costs incurred for issues such as delivering in unsociable hours or where extra personnel (beyond the standard two) are required.
